Built in 1872, and used as a registry office, The Hermitage in Bocking End, Essex, provided McCabe & Abel with an exciting conversion and restoration project. Situated within a Conservation Area, the property includes several period features, including a large portico entrance porch, sash windows, double gates with brick piers, gravelled entrance lined with mature trees and heritage cast-iron roll top baths. The Hermitage is in close proximity to The Courtauld Gardens and is spread over four bedrooms.
